Sara Ali Khan is an Indian film actress born on 12 August 1995 in Mumbai to Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh (both film actors).

Sara made her Bollywood debut in the year 2018 with the film “Kedarnath” alongside the late Sushant Singh Rajput. The same year she appeared in the film “Simmba” alongside Ranveer Singh. Both films were box office hits. This was followed by the romantic drama “Love Aaj Kal” (2020) alongside Kartik Aryan.

Opinion on Colorism (2019)

In an interview with Barkha Dutt, her opinion on colorism in India had left Twitterati divided into two categories. She commented that people can adopt easy fixes to change their skin color if they so desired. She commented that for being tan bronzer can be used, and for being fair some powder can be used.

All lives matter (2020)

In June 2020, the #BlackLivesMatter movement intensified after the death of African- American George Floyd amid police brutality allegations. Both Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities showed their solidarity for the Black Lives Matter movement. But Sara was trolled by social media users after she advocated that “ All Lives Matter” instead of #BlackLivesMatter on her social media account.

Sara was trolled for instigating “cultural appropriation” on using “Masai Tribeman as props” after pictures from her Filmfare magazine’s [March 2019] cover photoshoot surfaced online.

The Bollywood Drugs Case (2020)

During the NCB’s investigation into the drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, a wide drugs nexus in Bollywood had reportedly emerged. During an interrogation with Rhea Chakraborty, she revealed a few names of Bollywood celebs who consume and produce drugs.
