First Story: According to this story, there lived a black magician who tries to cast a spell on one of the cosmetic products of the town’s queen. However, she realized that something was wrong and throw that to a stone boulder. That stone boulder crushed the magician, who cursed the town. After that, the whole town destroyed in a single day.

Second story: The king of the town was unacceptably increasing its boundaries. Seeing, this one of the Rishi cursed the town. The curse was “If the shadow of its palace will hit the Rishi, the town will doom in a day.” The same thing happened and the town was doomed in a single day.

2. Dow Hill, Kurseong, West Bengal

The locals’ os this area reported many suspicious sounds when passing through the route. The route leads to Victoria Boy’s High School and Dowhill Girl’s Boarding School in Kurseong, Darjeeling. One can easily hear the sound which echos inside the hallways of these schools. As reported, there are countless bodies found inside the wood of the jungle. It gives a clear signal that you must avoid visiting this.

3. Dumas Beach, Gujarat

Yes, a beach is also there on our list. It is believed that whoever visits this beach loses its life. This beach was used as a graveyard for the peoples in the past. The story behind this haunted place is “The head of Jaisalmer fell in love with Village chief, daughter. He wanted to marry her and if the village will not let that happen, they will impose heavy taxes on them. Being in fear of this, the residents of the village fled one dark night.” Locals close the entry gate of this place amidst sunset.

5. Ramoji Film City, Andhra Pradesh

Ramoji Film city in Andhra Pradesh was said to be made on the dead remaining or the resting souls of Sultanate soldiers. The workers of this film city reported various paranormal activities at this haunting places. Torn of actress clothes, the sudden breakdown of machines or equipment, shattering of glass are some of the mishaps at this place.

6. D’Souza Chawl, Mumbai

The town is situated amidst the most popular area of Mumbai i.e Mahim. According to the locals, the spirit of an old lady roams around the chawl after sunset and vanishes after sunrise. The old lady died inside the well after falling into it while taking water out from it.

7. Lambi Dehar Mines, Mussoorie

Being one of the most active lime mines, lambi dehar mines is now considered as the haunted place of India. Once, there worked thousands of workers who are now haunting the place. 8. Shaniwarwada Fort, Pune

According to the story, a prince named Narayanrao was brutally murdered at this place and was dismembered. The remains of his body were thrown into the river. According to Hindu rituals, if an individual cremation is not done properly, the spirit remains at its death place. This too happened here and now the prince haunts the place and he is powerful at a full moon night.

9. Bombay Supreme Court – Bombay

One of the courtrooms is said to be haunted by the soul or a spirit. It is said that from the last three decades, a spirit prevents the murder convict to enter the courtroom. It happens whenever a murder trial takes place. Many people reported this type of unusual activity at this supreme court.

10. Raj Kiran Hotel, Lonavala

One of the most famous haunted hotels situated in Lonavala is Raj Kiran Hotel. The visitors of this hotel stated various abnormal activities while living here. That includes, suddenly pulling of the bedsheet, unusual sound of items falling down, screaming voices and more.
