Ankita Lokhande is an Indian television and film actress. She was born on 19 December 1984 in Indore, India. After completing her graduation she moved to Mumbai in 2005 to pursue a career in acting. Later on, she got an opportunity to show her talent on Zee Cine Superstar Ki Khoj in the year 2006.
She made her debut in the year 2009 with the TV show Pavitra Rishta alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. On the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta’, she started dating Sushant Singh Rajput but the couple broke up in the year 2016. She participated in the reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 4’ and ‘Comedy Circus’ in the year 2011. In the year 2013, she appeared in a television series ‘Ek Thi Naayka’.
She made her film debut with the role of ‘Jhalkari Bai, a warrior in Rani Laxmibai’s army’ in the film “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” in the year 2019 alongside Kangana Ranaut. She made another debut with Tiger Shroff in the movie Baaghi 3 (2020) beside Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh.
