1. Track and Field:
An athletic sport, established peculiarly on the grounds of running, jumping and throwing of the participants involved. It is one of the oldest and most famous sports breathing in the environment. The name is derived from the area where the sport takes place – “a running track and a grassy field”. Male and female competitions are held separately but mostly the venue remains the same for both of the competitions.

The scoring for each team depends upon the number of times the ball is grounded on the other team’s court, under a specific, organized set of rules. This sport today has its separate fan base which is grand and is increasing day by day, as we speak. A bat-and-ball game played between two opposing teams who take turns for batting and fielding one by one. It’s a start for the game when a player of the fielding team throws a ball and a player of the batting team offers all his effort to hit it with the bat.
It is essentially the game of the fittest, where the aim of the batting team is to hit the ball with full force, into the field of the play and to run the bases thereby scoring runs for the game. The aim of the fielding team, on the other hand, is to prevent the runners from completing the bases and hence stopping a score. The team with the maximum runs at the end of the game is declared a winner.

A sport played between a double or quadruple number of players, who aim to hit a lightweight ball back forth across a table using rackets. The base for the college game is divided by a net which is a table. The rules are simple but the play is fast and involves instant reactions and stimulus. The ball should bounce one time at each of the sides of the table in each hand. A point is scored when a player fails to return the ball, executed within the rules.
The world’s most popular sport, soccer, is a fast game of two teams, each comprising of 11 players. The base of the game is a rectangular field and equipment, a spherical ball. The basic objective of the game is to score as many numbers as possible by moving the ball beyond the goal line into the opposing goal. Players make use of their feet to move the ball; However, the use of other parts of the body for the same is also permitted, except for the use of hands and arms. At the end, team with maximum number of goals is declared as winner.

A team sport played with two teams, each of them consisting of eleven players. The game is about an oval-shaped football and a goalpost. The game is about two teams, the Offense, and the Defense. The Offense is the team who is in control of the ball and the Defense, who aim to stop the advances of the Offense. At the end of game, team with highest number of points is a winner.
A game which is a religion for India and one of the most famous sports all over the world. It’s a team sport with eleven players on each team playing with a bat and ball. The objective of the batting team is to score maximum runs by striking the ball bowled at the wicket with the bat in use. The fielding team, on the other hand, tries to prevent the runs and dismiss the players. The game is arbitrated by two umpires on the field and a third umpire off the field. In certain international matches, the umpires are also aided by a match referee.
The most striking feature of this college game is its open acceptance to everyone and anyone who can hold a racket, even a wheelchair user. The game is played both as singles (individual player on each side) and doubles (two players on both the sides). Each player strikes a rubber ball with the help of a racket. The aim of the game is to play the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. The player with the maximum score at the end stands as a winner.
