Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is an Indian film actress and model by profession. She was born on 9 June 1985 in Mumbai and grew up in the entertainment business as Anil Kapoor’s daughter.
At first, she worked as an assistant director in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s (Filmmaker) film ‘Black’. Later, she made her acting debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Saawariya’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the year 2007, which was a box office flop.
In the year 2013, she had a career breakthrough with the film ‘Raanjhanaa’ alongside Dhanush and Abhay Deol. Since then, she has appeared in numerous super-hit films, like ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Neerja’, ‘Padman’, ‘Veere Di Wedding’, etc.
