2020 Rajasthan Political Crisis [Source]
In July 2020, Sachin Pilot along with 18 MLAs went to Delhi claiming that they have the support of 30 MLAs and they can collapse the Ashok Gehlot-led Government. Gehlot contacted senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi to handle the situation and slamming the BJP for trying to demolish the government.
On 14 July 2020, Sachin Pilot was removed from the posts of Deputy CM and President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. At that time, rumors floated that Sachin Pilot can join BJP just like Jyotiraditya Scindia in Madhya Pradesh. Later on, Pilot cleared all rumors stating that he will continue to be a part of the Congress Party.
Also, Ashok Gehlot alleged BJP for horse trading in Rajasthan. Due to this, Gehlot shifted his MLAs from Jaipur to Jaisalmer to save them from horse trading. However, Rajasthan BJP leader refused all the allegations. On 14th August 2020, the Ashok Gehlot Government won the trust vote and saved the Government.
