The last c-series was a major success in the market because of the affordability and latest features enabled in it. These handsets have been accepted by lots of users globally giving their product good feedback. The company launched another Realme handset of C- series, c3 with more added features such as 3 Gb RAM, a 5,000 mAh battery capacity, and 4GB RAM options along with 32 GB and 64 GB storage variants.
With the growing craze of gaming on handsets, it is the first phone of c- series coming out with MediaTek’s Helios G70 gaming chipset with gaming compatibility and support. The octa-core processor used in G70 is certainly based on a 12nm manufacturing process. With this offering segment, the phone is immensely capable of handling large gaming applications very smoothly providing a wonderful gaming experience. The UI of this handset is not reliable enough in comparison to other phones in the same and lesser price range. The Realme c3 is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Good news for the PUBG lovers, C3 has come up with high graphics settings which will help in the smooth running of the game, unlike several other expensive smartphones that fail to support the application.
The software used for the first time in this Realme model is REALME UI. The chip used in the phone is octa-core which can retain a maximum APU clock speed of 2GHz and an 820GHz GPU to make gamers stay for a longer duration in this budget segment. From a point of view, we can say that this smartphone is able to tackle large apps and files successfully which can give tougher competition to the models of the same price segment.
But everything comes with a con which is that the system is unable to support tens of processes running in the background. If a user is playing an intense game with a large file extension then the person won’t be able to switch the apps between the game, as the software will start to hang and the software will not be able to support the switching of apps.
Another thing to know is that it is still retaining the outdated micro-USB charging port from the Realme C2 which is only beneficial to C2 users. The model was expected to be upgraded to Type-C. The phone supports 10W charging which takes just a couple of hours to retain full battery.

The display of the model comes up with 6.5-inch HD+(720×1600 pixels) also with a waterdrop notch. The operating system inbuilt is Android v10 (Q) which is better from Redmi 8. It has the gorilla glass 5 protection. The weight of the phone is 195g which is lighter to carry in pocket and is a stunning and trendy piece. C3 is slimmer in comparison to other handsets falling in this price range. It has a colored LCD display screen (16.7 M).
Getting to the not-so-exciting news. If you like chilling with Netflix on phone this model will fail to satisfy you. The handset doesn’t have Wide vine L1 certification which means that you can watch content in HD. I must say the sunlight eligibility and viewing angles of the phone are quite good from the expectation.
C3 provides us with a good battery life along with a capacity of 5,000 mAh battery which can last for 10 hours on constant use. But comes with a drawback of not supporting fast charging cable like the Redmi 8A.
C3 looks alike of its own brand model Realme 5i with has an added design of sunrise making it a decent and elegant piece. The back of the body is of plastic with a splash-proof resistance.
The Realme c3 came up with a dual camera. It has 12 MP as the primary sensor. It is also equipped with other features such as AI beauty, chroma boost, slow motion video, HDR mode, Super Nightscape, and Panorama selfie. The front camera has a v-shaped notch with a 5 MP sensor in it. The sunlight shots taken from this phone are good otherwise pictures taken from Realme are not quite of compliment because of its smaller number of sensors enabled on the phone.
Realme C3 doesn’t make any revolution in the smartphone market as compared to other phones at the same price. But one can surely say that with this price segment we are getting a decent and unobjectionable display, design, better UI performance.
As we look around the market in this price budget G70 performs reasonably very nicely and it can continue to give the competitors a real challenge in the upcoming months also. However, the price tags and the long-lasting battery life in RS. 6,999 and Rs. 7,999 for the 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants respectively are icing on the cake. Realme c3 can be our vice choice unless if you are outlining to purchase REDMI 9A.
