Filmmaker Mohit Suri seems to be taking advantage of the lockdown situation, given the ground situation. The talented filmmaker has confirmed the news that he is planning to pen down the sequel of the film Malang with all the time in the word.
He took to his social media handle to give a glimpse of the film concerning the first draft of the movie. The romantic action film was loved by the audience and was appreciated a lot by the audience. He shared a picture on the Instagram application, showcasing his fans that the script is being molded. The picture displayed a sheet saying “Malang 2- unleash the Madness 2”, the wordings were captioned in bold black letter.
With the picture, the 39-year-old director captioned “To make a great film you need 3 things: The script, the script and the script – Alfred Hitchcock #Malang #firstdraft #malang2” Have a look right here! The cast of the first part had a strong star cast including, Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kunal Khemu.
On May 6, a virtual call was held for the star cast to briefed them about the project and it seems that after the lockdown, the filmmaker will start with the schedule. The revenge drama, Malang was released on February 7, 2020 and did fairly okay with the business over golden screens.
The director did not only share the picture, but he also captioned the picture with the wise words of Alfred Hitchcock which read as, “To make a great film you need 3 things: The script, the script and the script”, this in no small measure is true. If the film is actually about good content and a good script, nothing can stop it from hitting the box office with a bang.
The best part is that the director has decided to use his free time in the best productive manner. Malang sequel looks promising the way Mohit Suri has portrayed the picture and its caption. Let’s just hope that the director finishes penning down the content so that the filming of the film can commence as soon as the restriction becomes more flexible.
Talking about the film making, the Maharashtrian government has decided to lift the restriction for making film and advertisements considering the situation faced by the Bollywood industry. This paves way for a number of films to start with the filming!
Stay tuned for more updates.
